Future Running Legends

This list will continually grow as new future running legends make there mark on running history.

Hall, Ryan - Rising star and American Olympic hopeful marathon runner who won the Olympics Trails in 2.09.02. He has run the fastest American marathon debut in a time of 2.08.48 and holds the American record in the half marathon in 59.43. Click below for Olympic Trails marathon finish.



Rupp, Galen - University of Oregon star who has set many junior national and American high school records. He broke Gerry Lindgren's 40-year old 5000 meter junior record in a time of 13.37.91. Rupp also broke the American Collegiate 10000 meter record on 30 April 2007 and led University of Oregon to its first Cross Country title in 30 years.

Webb, Alan - In July 2007, he broke Steve Scott's 1982 American mile record in a time of 3.46.91 and in 2001 also broke legend Jim Ryan's national high school mile record in a time of 3.53.43 which stood for 36 years. Click below for his record setting race in Belgium.
